Game Designer Major Graduating in May 2026
I make tools that streamline the design process
I love playing card games and roguelikes – with some of my favorites being card game roguelikes. These roguelikes inspired me to focus on tool design, as the best games are the ones that have gone through cycle after cycle of iteration. What’s the easiest way to iterate? By making the tools that allow you to iterate.
Over the course of my education I’ve worked on multiple teams both big and small. These teams have taught me a lot with the biggest lessons being on communication, empathy, and the ability to take criticism. I’ve also become proficient in Unity, C#, and game design techniques, both for digital and analog games.
I also love doing game jams. I try to do a couple of them every year both to keep my skills sharp and to make a silly project that can be silly without having the time commitment that a larger project has. I’m looking to make indie games that focus on player choice and emergent gameplay rather than railroaded experiences.
When I’m not making games, I’m playing them. I’ve been playing a lot of Magic: the Gathering lately alongside some of the classics – Overwatch, Hearthstone, and Pokémon Champions, to name a few.
I’m currently looking for indie positions! Let’s talk about the tools I can make for you.
